My husband and I had the pleasure of eating at McCoco’s and let me tell you it was one of the best Caribbean restaurants in Milwaukee.. I had ordered Arroz con Gandules and pernil, it was soo good and took me back to Puerto Rico. Customer Service was great, the ladies were very kind and the service was very fast.. Will definitely be coming back!
Firstly, the portion size is absolutely huge! When the food came out I was in shock with how much they portion. Everything was absolutely delicious. I ate the mcfongo and my partner got the Cuban sandwich. The wings were WHOLE wings. A lot of places do not serve whole wings so I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the decor was beautiful. This place offers an array of options and it was authentic. I can’t wait to try this place again.
Visited McCocos for a late lunch. We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Our server Niurka was so kind and so attentive. She brought us ice water and soup. As we quickly decided on lunch we ordered ground beef empanadas, bandeja paisa and a Paloma just the way I like it (no soda). If you are in the neighborhood and or looking for lunch or dinner consider This spot!
McCoco’s left me already planning my next visit. I stopped by for a quick drink and appetizer and was very satisfied. I had the mojito and the tostones—both were a perfect 10/10. The mojito? Hands down the best I’ve ever had—so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The tostones were the perfect snack to go with it, crisp and filling, and I often complain about the oil to chip ratio but I enjoyed this one, it was balanced. I immediately texted my girls group chat to start planning a ladies’ night. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
Massy was our server and she was awesome! She is so gorgeous and very fast and amazing service. Love the restaurants vibe and energy and was very impressed by the aesthetics of the environment, food AND the drinks. 10/10 all around
I got all that food (pictured) for 32. I'm no connoisseur of Caribbean cuisine, but everything I ordered was tremendo. Some pork and rice (gandules?) and chicken and rice and mafongo and meat cubes and pinto beans. ¡Que rico! Wish I could have dined in. The vibe was cool.
Amazing service and the food was so delicious. I would definitely recommend checking out if you haven’t already, I will be back!
A BOGO meal?! Uh, yes, please! I tried through DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. I got the Empanada Colombianas De Pollo O Carne. So good! I liked the chicken the best. And the dipping sauce was amazing. For meals, I got the arroz con gandeles platter. You can pick a free meal, so I chose the Bandera pepper steak. Both were delicious!!
